Grasslands Map Missing

I updated to 1.3 and the Grasslands map is no longer available under the pervious modes, the only icons under Play are the other four maps. I deleted and reinstalled with the same results only now Crossroads and Drylands are locked and there is still no Grasslands icon.

I have the same exact problem. I bought Fieldrunners the other day and played the grasslands map. Today I started up the game after the update and the grasslands map is now gone.

OK created an account just for this issue...

Seeing the same problem. Grasslands is missing. Reinstalling Fieldrunners didn't help. When pressing Play, all I see are the 2 locked maps, the 2 in-app-purchase maps, and the upper left corner being empty.

Restarting my iPhone didn't help either.

iPhone 3GS 3.1.2. Not jailbroken.

I too have just created an account for this issue!

I got an iPhone 3GS bought 3 days ago and has the latest update and is not jailbroken or ever has been

and i am having the same problem in fieldrunners new update

i can only see crossroards (locked) drylands (locked) <<<< this is a very big issue and what happened to grasslands map thats the most popular one!!!

the two maps that i just bought are unlocked and i can play them fine

please fix the LOCKED issue and bring back GRASSLANDS.

We are not exactly sure why this is happening on certain devices, but a fix has already been submitted. Thanks for all the feedback!

If you really want to play those maps, play the challenges. All maps are automatically unlocked in the challenges screen (click the Social button on the title screen).

Having same issue on my iPhone 3G (Crossroads and Drylands are locked, Grasslands is missing).

Judging by previous posts here, it would seem that deleting/reinstalling the game won't help, so I shouldn't even bother? Plus I'm worried that doing so might erase the two new maps that I had just purchased...

How long will we have to wait to get the fixed version (v1.3.1 I presume)?

Our team has still not yet been able to successfully reproduce the issue but a fix has been submitted. According to the other forum posts, reinstalling the app does not fix the issue. I'd recommend playing these maps as challenges until the update goes live.

We are going to try to push this update through submission and hope to get it live sometime this week. Thanks for the feedback and your patience while we resolve this issue.

I actually got the map to show up.

Restart iPhone.
Remove Fieldrunners.
Restart iPhone.
Install Fieldrunners.

Then I just ran Fieldrunners without restarting, although it might help. The map showed up immediately. Simple uninstall and reinstall doesn't work for some reason. Don't know why the restart helped in this situation.

May be useful for those that can't wait for the update to be approved by Apple.

Thanks for the tip! However, I'm not entirely sure if that will work for everyone. The problem seems to be caused by some uninitialized data. In layman's terms, uninitialized data leads to unpredictable results. What you did causes the game to randomly scramble the uninitialized data which gives the game an x% chance of working. If it doesn't work the first time, repeating those steps may cause it to work the second, third, or fourth time around.
